It’s the Fourth of July!

Oh, that’s a good-looking spot. I fear I’ve disappointed my love, from Michigan, in that I haven’t actually been to the Statue of Liberty. Closest I know I’ve gotten is the Liberty Science Center.

My photos are from straight down the road from the science center. But if you get on the ferry, I think Ellis Island is a much more interesting stop than the statue.

I love NYC and I miss it all the time. However, in my 7 years living in NYC, I’m not sure I ever encountered a goat just chilling on a bench. I’m not sure what I would have done if I had.

He was actually behind a fence. Liberty State Park has a fenced in goat habitat.

I like the King Goat. He is very cute. Do they let the goats out of the habitat to “mow” Liberty State Park? 🙂
