Everyone harps on the bad things coming out of NJ, at least in my purview. I think this post and your pictures of it should become more the forefront of Newark’s image than in the background. Btw, I always associated Rutgers with being more New Brunswick than Newark and had no idea it was there. I went to see them play against WVU back when I was a kid and was always confused as to the actual location of the school. Lol, it seems like every part of NJ has a Rutgers campus.

Rutgers main campus is in the New Brunsick and that’s where the Division 1 sports teams play. There are sizeable branch campuses in Camden and Newark which field Division 3 athletic teams.

I fly through Newark most of the time when I get to go to Europe. Now I have a new thing to look for at the airport–Amelia! Love the building art, Ken. You shine a bright light on the city.

Great pictures. I’m a big fan of the cleanup that has been taking place. Compared to the 80s there’s been a great renaissance of culture and arts. Every time I drive through downtown there is always something new happening.
