I loved Québec when I was there. Especially the old town.

Beautiful photographs!
Historic buildings and statues always take me back. I wonder how the people who have died and gone lived.
I am getting the travelling bug!

Have never been to Quebec but have heard a lot of positive things about the city. Good photos that actually could have been taken somewhere in Europe.

I’ve always thought that Quebec feels more like Europe than North America.

I am unlikely to ever visit Quebec, but your pics give me a great idea of what makes the city special.
It looks like somewhere anyone could spend some high quality chill-out time.

Wonderful photos Ken. I’ve only been to Quebec City once but I fell in love with it instantly and it has been on my wish list to return ever since. Your article just helped to push it a few slots up the list. 🙂

Great pictures of Quebec. Loved the street theater pics. I used to do some street theater as a kid so that really brings me back. Though I never rode a unicycle (I wish!) Though I used to be in acting class who would unicycle to his auditions.

It has been years since I have been to Quebec City. I went to college in Plattsburgh, NY and we would go there sometimes on weekends. It is a really great place to visit.
Great pictures of the city.

Oh, la belle province! I’ve always found that Quebec isn’t just another province, it’s a whole other part of Canada. It’s so much more European than Ontario (where I live), with a sense of history and great style. I’m due for a visit, and your pics are making me want to go!

Under the Terrasse Dufferin, out of the sun
Under the Terrasse Dufferin, we’ll be havin’ some fun…
Hmmm, that doesn’t roll off the tongue so easily – anyway, two thoughts:
(1) Alice looks very stylish there in Wonderland, doesn’t she?
(2) How were the pastries at Café Boulangerie Paillard? As good as you would expect for a European patisserie?

Didn’t have any of the pastries but the bread was excellent.

You take the best photos, Ken. They evoke the nature of a place so I always like I was there.
