What about the other animals? Do they have plenty of space to roam?

I thought most of them had decent spaces. There were more uncaged animals than in most zoos. There were sloths free to roam about with the visitors in their building.

The giraffes would need a lot of space with their long legs and necks.

Your photos are fantastic – especially the giraffes. Do you have to take the cable car to get to the zoo?

No. You drive up but they have a sky ride you can take that goes over the zoo.

Open zoos are great. I find the traditional ones hard to deal with. I love the photo of the tiger

These are such lovely animals. I find I have mixed emotions about zoos. I think it’s important to see and appreciate animals animals but I also feel sorry for the animals behind cages. Luckily there are some zoos that give the animals a great deal of freedom.
