Matt Latos pitched for nine different teams during an 8-year major league career. During that time he complied a 71-59 won-loss record. He’s giving it one last shot as a closer for New Jersey Jackals,

One of these days I’ll make it up to our Minor League stadium, but I do wish we had one a tad closer. I’d like to spend the day at the ballpark, not on the road!

I’ve never been to a minor league baseball game, and I’ve only been to a few major league ones. Though of course I spent my time eating wonderfully horrible and unhealthy food and people watching as opposed to paying attention to the game at hand 😉

I love watching our little team, even though it is not officially minor league, it is one of those collegiate summer feeder leagues. But it is fun, and Ken Griffey, Jr. played here!

It is the Bellingham Bells. I don’t know what they call the league, but it is the one where the college ball players play in during the summers.

I know, right? We have Clipper Stadium in downtown Lancaster and it’s really been a nice addition to our little city. Plus it’s been my daughter’s summertime employment all through high school!

This post just screams summer fun! We have an independent professional baseball league team in my home city of Winnipeg. Their games are a lot fun. They too have various theme days throughout the season.

Yeah, I didn’t go into the practical things like parking and not having to wait on line to be frisked before you enter the stadium.

I love minor league baseball and attend many Dayton dragons games I remember many of the big leaguers when they came through the system such as Todd Frasier who is now one of the best 3rd basemen in the MLB.
