    Thanks especially for the Latino history segment. It’s the kind of thing being banned here in Florida schools. The Smithsonian and blogs like yours help keep the free flow of information.

      Why anyone would object to teaching Latino-American history is beyond me. Especially in a place like Florida! The Washington exhibit was really interesting but sadly,only a handful of people wandered into that section of the museum on an otherwise busy day.

    I’ve never been to Washington, but I would love to get there strictly to see some of the Smithsonian museums. This post has certainly reinforced that desire. Great exhibits.
