May those messages resonate with as many as possible. In visits to Europe the last couple of years, it was eye-opening to see how far ahead of the United States countries such as Portugal, Ireland, Scotland and Norway are in taking unified action to protect the environment.

  3. Everything old is new again … that’s clearly true of art with a message. I’d forgotten about that once-ubiquitous ecology flag.

And, how about the bald eagle? We used it as the poster child of environmental responsibility in the 1970s-80s, brought it back from near extinction, and now are threatening it again with lead poisoning from carcasses left by lazy hunters, landfills, etc.

I guess we never learn. What good reminders … thanks for sharing!
