Thanks for highlighting one of America’s most underrated cities. Wife and I visited Pittsburgh in October 2024. We were impressed by the cultural diversity, quality independent bookstores, restaurants and walkability of the Shadyside neighborhoods. Also enjoyed walking the campuses of Carnegie-Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh. Got a special delight seeing the replica of the Forbes Field wall, where Bill Mazeroski’s home run carried, in its original location, just steps from the entrance to the Carnegie-Mellon Library between the two campuses.

I love the Heinz, Ken! I became a member shortly after moving to Pburgh in 1999 and have continued. Great permanent exhibits–like Mister Rogers neighborhood. And they have amazing touring exhibitions. So fun that you got to go there!
